This is for general information for those candidates who have appeared the Local Language Examination for the post of Sectional Assistant conducted by District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills district, Shillong, on the 2nd May, 2026 that the Result for the said examination has been declared and the Written Test Examination for the above post will be held on the 23rd May, 2026.

The Result of the Written Examination of Local Language Paper(Khasi Language Paper)for the post of Sectional Assistant held on 2nd May, 2026.

The Written Examination for all the eligible candidates will be held on the 23rd May, 2026.

This is for general information for those candidates who applied for the post of Sectional Assistant advertised by the District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong vide Advertisement No. DSC.127/DSC-EKH/ADVT/2024/64, dated 2nd September, 2025 that the Qualifying Paper on knowledge of Local Language (Khasi Language) Examination will be held on 2nd May, 2026.

Candidates are advised to download the e-admit card from the website at https://rpa.meghalaya.gov.in/rpaonline/ w.e.f. 24th April, 2026 onwards.

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination Centre(s) without the e-Admit Card and a valid ID Card. Candidates must mandatorily produce the hard copy of the e-admit card during the examination when asked for by the Examination functionaries.

Candidates are requested to report at the examination Centre 1 (one) hour before the commencement of the examination. Entry Gates will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. The decision of the Office in this regard is Final.

District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong invites online applications from citizen of India who are the permanent residents of East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya only (in compliance to Memo No. PER (AR) 111/2022/70-A dated Shillong, the 27th March, 2025) who are desirous to apply as per the terms and conditions in the advertisement for filling up the vacancies. Candidate can apply the vacant posts w.e.f 1st April, 2026 to 1st May, 2026.

This is for general information for those candidates who are to appear for the Personal Interview and verification of documents on the 7th, 8th, 14th & 15th April, 2025 for the post of Grade IV conducted by the District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District, that the verification of documents and personal interview has been rescheduled on the account of the holidays on the 7th & 14th April, 2025.

The result of the Stenography and Typewriting Test  for the post of Stenographer Grade III held on 15th January, 2026.

Candidates who have qualified the Stenography and Typewriting Test  for the post of Stenographer Grade III will be allowed to appear for the qualifying paper on Knowledge of Local Language (Khasi Language in the case of East Khasi Hills District), the examination date(s) of which shall be intimated in due course. Such eligible candidates are requested to visit the district website from time to time for any important updates. Only those eligible candidates who qualify the Local Language Paper shall be called to appear for the Personal Interview.

Candidates who have qualified the Written Examination for the post of Enumerator will be allowed to appear for the qualifying paper on Knowledge of Local Language (Khasi Language in the case of East Khasi Hills District), the examination date(s) of which shall be intimated in due course. Such eligible candidates are requested to visit the district website from time to time for any important updates. Only those eligible candidates who qualify the Local Language Paper shall be called to appear for the Personal Interview.
