List of the successful candidates for the post of Sweeper & Cleaner recommended by the Committee.

Eligible candidates who have qualified the Knowledge of Local Language Paper are to appear for the Practical Efficiency Test (Qualifying only in nature). They are to bring their educational qualification certificates/results, ST certificate, Birth certificate, a valid Government issued ID card (EPIC/ Aadhaar). These certificates must be produced in original as well as photocopy on the day of the Practical Efficiency Test and to report to the Atrium Area, Second Floor, O/o The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong on the 3rd March 2026 at 8:00AM sharp. 

This is for general information for those candidates who have applied for the posts of Peon advertised by the District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills District vide Advertisement No. DSC.127/DSC-EKH/ADVT/2024/67 Dated Shillong the 19th December 2025 that the Written Examination for the said post will be held on the 7th March, 2026.

Candidates are to mandatorily download the e-Admit Card for the written examination from the designated website at https://rpa.meghalaya.gov.in/rpaonline/  which will be made available to download from 2nd March, 2026 onwards

No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre(s) without the e-Admit Card and a valid ID Card.
Candidates are requested to report at the examination centre 1 (one) hour before the commencement of the examination. Entry Gates will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. The decision of the Office in this regard is Final.

List of the successful candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade- III recommended by the Committee.

Eligible Candidates are to appear for the Personal Interview which will be held on the  27th February, 2026.
All eligible candidates are requested to report for the verification of documents and must bring along their original documents along with one set of the photo copies.
Verification of documents will be on the 26th February, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the O/o The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong,  Atrium area, top Floor.

Candidate are requested to download the e-dmit Card from https://megrecruitment.nic.in/rpa/printadmitcard.htm

Eligible Candidates are to appear for the Personal Interview which will be held on the  27th February, 2026.
All eligible candidates are requested to report for the verification of documents and must bring along their original documents along with one set of the photo copies.
Verification of documents will be on the 26th February, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the O/o The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong,  Atrium area, top Floor.

Candidates who have qualified the Written Examination for the post of Sweeper and Cleaner are to mandatorily appear for the qualifying paper on Knowledge of Local Language (Khasi Language in the case of East Khasi Hills District), the examination date(s) of which shall be intimated in due course. Such eligible candidates are requested to visit the district website from time to time for any important updates. Only those eligible candidates who qualify the Local Language Paper (Khasi Language) will be called for the Practical Efficiency Test.

The result of the Stenography and Typewriting Test  for the post of Stenographer Grade III held on 15th January, 2026.

Candidates who have qualified the Stenography and Typewriting Test  for the post of Stenographer Grade III will be allowed to appear for the qualifying paper on Knowledge of Local Language (Khasi Language in the case of East Khasi Hills District), the examination date(s) of which shall be intimated in due course. Such eligible candidates are requested to visit the district website from time to time for any important updates. Only those eligible candidates who qualify the Local Language Paper shall be called to appear for the Personal Interview.
