PRESS RELEASE

 

            This is for general information that the National Old Age Pension of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only per month for the existing beneficiaries w.e.f   1-1-2007  to 31-5-2007   will be disbursed as follows.

            Those beneficiaries residing within Urban Areas are requested to contact Nazir Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Shillong Room No. 211 from  13-11-2007 onwards during office hours. For detailed information please contact Development Branch Room No. 314 of the Office of the undersigned.

            Those beneficiaries residing within Rural Areas, disbursement of the same will be from the office of the Block Development Officers concerned from 13-11-2007 onwards during office hours. Detailed information and  list of beneficiaries will be made available from the respective Block Offices.
