            This is for general information of all concerned that the Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced a Scheme of the “Union Home Minister’s Award for meritorious  services in the field of Forensic Science consisting of a certificate and  cash Award of Rs. 25,000/- for the year 2006.

            All Forensic Scientists who are regular employees of Central/State Forensic Science Laboratories/Government  Examiners of Questioned Documents may send their nominations  to the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong on or before the 8th of August, 2007. The details may be collected from the office of the undersigned  OR may be downloaded from the district website at http: // eastkhasihills.gov.in
