              Public Consumers of East Khasi Hills District are hereby informed that BPL Quota and AAY quota of rice for the month of February 2006 is being distributed to the consumers at the scale of 35 kg per BPL/AAY Family Identity card  per month at the following rate through their respective Fair Price Shops:

                                 1. BPL quota             =Rs. 6.15 per Kg

                                 2. AAY quota            =Rs. 3.00 per Kg

 

              All Fair Price Shop dealers of the district are hereby requested to lift the allotted quota of rice immediately and to arrange the distribution to the beneficiaries.

 

                Any non-supply or overcharging of rate and supply of inferior quality of rice by the Fair Price Shop Dealers should be brought to the notice of the Undersigned immediately.
